Take some time this week to remember your original happy hour: Saturday mornings as a kid, waking up at dawn, jumping on the couch with a bowl of chocolate cereal, turning on the ‘toons, tuning out the outside world, and working your way into a sugar hangover before noon. Join us this week as we talk about the “cartoons for grown ups” phenomenon and continue our Adult Swim fascination with a look at China, IL. We talk to star Gary Anthony Williams, and creators-writers-producers-actors-songwriters Brad Neely and Daniel Weidenfeld.

The series takes place at the “Worst College in America”, located at the edge of town. The school’s poor reputation is celebrated by the school’s uncaring faculty and staff, constantly shown drinking while teaching and/or trying to avoid teaching altogether. Steve (Brad Neely) and Frank Smith (Brad Neely) are twin professors at the college, teaching different subjects with limited success, while Professor Cakes is the father of undergraduate Mark “Baby” Cakes (Brad Neely), who spends his time at college with the school staff (Including Hulk Hogan as the Dean and Jeffery Tambor as Professo Cakes). Pony (Greta Berwig) is the teacher’s aide at the school, and the most rational of the staff, but still willing to go along with the staff’s insane plots to avoid working.
