RITA’S RECAP FOR THE SHOWTHAT AIRDED ON DECEMEBR 12, 2013

By Rita Farbulous                                                  S. 4 E. 3

MattyP and Dave started the show by remembering Nelson Mandela, who passed away on the 15th.  Matty read a touching short poem sent in from the Kindergarten Cop villain, actor Richard Tyson.

The fitness guru Richard Simmons calls in and serenades us with a loud medley of holiday songs, replacing many of the lyrics with “Richard”.  Matty asks Richard about many of the popular weight loss surgeries and references the hefty Chris Christie as an example.  Richard replies that he doesn’t judge people and stated “there are no scales at the gates of heaven”.  Matty brings up the recent MTV Awards show and expresses his jealousy that Richard had his hands all over Katy Perry.  Richard admits that he would love to do a duet with the “firework”, Katy and starts belting out the tune at the top of his lungs.  Matty inquires if Richard watches reality shows like Keeping Up with The Kardashians.  Richard declares that he doesn’t like mean TV , but starts name dropping that he’s met Bruce, has known Kris for years and stated that Khloe has been to his exercise class a few times.  Richard tells us that his exercise studio called “Slimmons”, located in Beverly Hills will be open for 40 years. Tune in to hear his schedule and find out which days he’s teaching there if you’re interested in Sweating to the Oldies or bumping into a sweaty Khloe.

Tune in to hear what happens after Matty tells Richard that he’s drinking a beer during the interview.  If you’re interested in short, long, straight or curlies listen to the full interview.

Bushwick Bill is the next guest, he’s the only original member of The Geto Boys since 1985, who has consistently been on every album. “I’m short but I don’t take shorts” declares the 3’8” rap icon;… nor does he wear shorts like Richard Simmons! Bushwick tells Matty about how easy it was to get girls at the height of his fame and recants a juicy groupie story about an aunt and her niece.  Bushwick tells about the time when they had to tone down their lyrics, because their record label, Geffen wouldn’t release the album.
