Well… it’s happening.
Mel Brooks just announced Spaceballs: The New One, hitting theaters April 23, 2027.
Yes. This is real.
Yes. The Schwartz is back.
And this is not some quiet reboot.

That alone is enough to make you drop your spoon.
But then they did something even better…
They dropped a table read photo.

Taking something iconic and turning it completely on its head.
And somehow making it feel like Saturday morning all over again.
Because this is not just a sequel.
This is a callback.
A parody of the sequel era.
And a reminder that some of the stuff we grew up with still knows exactly what it is.
