Retrofit Presents Snap Original Breakwater Debuting Feature Length Version of the Series at Wondercon
Filmmaker and Cast Q&A After the Screening on Friday, April 1
WHAT: Retrofit Films, Snapchat, and cast members from the Snap Original Breakwater will share a world premiere screening of the entire scripted mini-series in a full 60-minute presentation. Set in a futuristic world of climate refugees, the story takes place in the dangerous coastal slums outside the Los Angeles Seawall where Mai, a savvy 20-year-old fixer, must race against an impending hurricane to complete a mission for survival.
Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with the show’s cast and creators who will discuss significant moments from the show, the process of creating the series, and insights into Snapchat’s immersive augmented reality Lenses available with each episode that bring the show to life.
