Take some time this week to remember your original happy hour: Saturday mornings as a kid, waking up at dawn, jumping on the couch with a bowl of chocolate cereal, turning on the ‘toons, tuning out the outside world, and working your way into a sugar hangover before noon. Join us this week as we talk about the Adult Swim block on the Cartoon Network and speak with some of the people behind one of their biggest hits, “Eagleheart” starring the one and only Chris Elliot. We get real and geeky with actress Maria Thayer, producer Jason Woliner, and writer Andrew Weinberg, plus what’s the deal with [Adult Swim] anyway?

Staring Chris Elliott, Maria Thayer, Brett Gelman, and Michael Gladis. Eagleheart follows US Marshal Chris Monsanto (Chris Elliot) as he fights crime with his two partners: the slow-witted Brett (Brett Gelman) and by-the-book Susie (Maria Thayer). They take on drug smugglers, art thieves, kidnappers, and con artists with bloody violence and gruesome deaths ensuing. The Marshals report to The Chief (Michael Gladis) who gives them their assignments.
Eagleheart parodies many cop shows, most notably Walker, Texas Ranger. It portrays a great deal of graphic violence.
